📋 Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our dynamic team in Seoul, South Korea. This full-time, onsite position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment.

As an Audit Associate, you will be responsible for executing audit procedures under the supervision of senior team members. Your duties will include preparing working papers, analyzing financial data, performing substantive testing, and assisting in the identification of audit risks and control deficiencies. You will also be involved in drafting audit reports and communicating findings to engagement teams and clients. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for domestic and international clients.
  • Perform detailed testing of financial transactions, account balances, and internal controls.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit documentation and working papers.
  • Identify and communicate potential audit issues and control weaknesses to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
  • Participate in client meetings and interviews to gather information and clarify audit findings.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, KICPA, ACCA) or progress towards them are highly advantageous. 1-2 years of experience in external audit at a public accounting firm is preferred, though exceptional fresh graduates with relevant internships will be considered. Strong proficiency in English and Korean (written and verbal) is essential, along with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with audit software. Candidates must possess a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practices and professional skepticism.
