Our growing consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Cybersecurity Consultant to join our expert team. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, you will be instrumental in advising our diverse client base on complex cybersecurity challenges, helping them build robust security postures, and navigate the evolving threat landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in client systems and applications.
- Develop and implement tailored cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, data protection, and incident response planning.
- Lead risk management initiatives, perform threat modeling, and advise clients on appropriate security controls and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports, present findings to executive-level stakeholders, and manage client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity consulting, security engineering, or a similar senior-level security role.
- Proven expertise in security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), compliance regulations (GDPR, PCI DSS), and cloud security platforms.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
