📋 Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Analyst to join our remote team based out of Dublin, Ireland. This full-time role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a strong passion for technology and supporting end-users. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing critical technical assistance to a diverse user base across different time zones. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, predominantly through remote tools.
  • Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents using our helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and software applications (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Participate in IT asset management, including tracking inventory, licensing, and documentation of IT procedures and solutions.
  • Contribute to IT security initiatives, including user access management, endpoint protection, and promoting best practices for data security.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network connectivity, and collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a remote work setting.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11), Microsoft Office 365 suite, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and troubleshooting basic connectivity issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and professional demeanor.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) are a significant advantage.
