We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Analyst to join our remote team based out of Dublin, Ireland. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing critical technical assistance to a diverse user base across different time zones. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, predominantly through remote tools.
- Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents using our helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and software applications (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Participate in IT asset management, including tracking inventory, licensing, and documentation of IT procedures and solutions.
- Contribute to IT security initiatives, including user access management, endpoint protection, and promoting best practices for data security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network connectivity, and collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a remote work setting.
- Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11), Microsoft Office 365 suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and troubleshooting basic connectivity issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and professional demeanor.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) are a significant advantage.
