Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events from various sources (SIEM, EDR, network devices) to detect and analyze potential security incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our systems and applications.
- Act as a primary responder for security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing containment and remediation strategies.
- Implement, configure, and manage security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and anti-malware solutions.
- Collaborate with IT operations, development, and other business units to integrate security best practices into all stages of the system lifecycle.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively enhance our defensive capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security analyst, incident response, or similar cybersecurity role.
- Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel).
- Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and an understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English is required.
