As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities, developing robust security strategies, and implementing best practices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses for client systems and networks.
• Developing and advising on the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and local regulations.
• Providing expert guidance on risk management, incident response planning, and security awareness programs.
• Collaborating directly with clients to understand their business needs, present security findings, and recommend tailored solutions.
• Staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and compliance requirements to provide cutting-edge advice.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and exceptional client-facing skills. Required qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity consulting, security architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrable expertise in conducting security assessments, risk analyses, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Japanese and English.
• The ability to work effectively onsite in Tokyo, collaborating with both local and international teams.

In return for your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, for this part-time engagement.
