As a Business Development Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing client portfolios.
- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction.
- Preparing and presenting compelling proposals and presentations to senior-level executives.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within a B2B technology or solutions-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both English and Japanese (native or business-level proficiency required).
- Strong understanding of the Japanese market dynamics, cultural nuances, and business practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
