We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Penetration Tester to join our fully remote cybersecurity team. As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our clients' systems, applications, and networks, providing actionable recommendations to enhance their security posture. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, network infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Utilize a variety of tools and methodologies to simulate real-world attacks, including black-box, grey-box, and white-box testing.
- Document findings clearly and concisely, outlining vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and practical remediation strategies.
- Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining risks and mitigation approaches effectively.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to validate fixes and ensure the ongoing security of systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or red team operations.
- Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25).
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux, Nessus, Wireshark.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and exploit development.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work setting.
