We are seeking a talented and passionate Visual Designer to join our dynamic creative team in a hybrid work model, based out of our Chicago, IL office. This is a full-time opportunity for a creative individual who thrives on crafting exceptional visual experiences. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in translating complex concepts into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-centric designs across various platforms, contributing significantly to our brand's visual identity and product success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain visual design guidelines and standards, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and final visual assets for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to bring innovative concepts to life.
- Participate in user research and design sprints, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Present design concepts and articulate design decisions effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously elevate our design output.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer, or similar role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma or Sketch.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
