Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Create and execute strategic account plans, forecasting sales, and preparing regular reports on account status and sales performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the Kenyan market to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the Kenyan market.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding complex client requirements and proposing tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
This Part-Time, Hybrid Account Manager position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 160,000 / year, commensurate with experience and impact.
