We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Warsaw, Poland. In this critical onsite role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, including operating systems (Linux/Windows Server) and enterprise applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and optimal functioning of infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall rules; configure and support network devices (routers, switches).
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures, including regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability management.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams, resolving complex system-related incidents.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency with both Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs) and experience with network hardware.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
