We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our robust Operations & Logistics team. Based in Sydney, Australia, this full-time, hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in managing complex global supply chains. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, contributing directly to our operational excellence and client satisfaction. We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
As a Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and monitoring the entire logistics process, including domestic and international freight, customs clearance, and warehousing activities.
- Scheduling and tracking shipments, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to budget constraints.
- Liaising effectively with carriers, suppliers, customs brokers, and internal departments to resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintaining accurate logistics documentation, preparing reports, and utilizing logistics software (TMS, WMS) to manage inventory and shipment data.
- Implementing and adhering to all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within logistics operations.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related operational field.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
