Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Performing continuous monitoring and analysis of security events from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools.
- Responding to security incidents, conducting forensic analysis, and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems and applications.
- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC and infrastructure projects.
- Staying current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Participating in security awareness training initiatives for employees.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Analyst or similar cybersecurity role.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles (Azure, AWS).
- Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, GSEC) are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and French.
