Our dynamic and rapidly growing global technology company is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Help Desk Technician to join our onsite support team at one of our regional hubs within the Asia-Pacific. While this is an onsite role, candidates must be based within the Asia-Pacific region to support our regional operations effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT problems, including operating system errors, application malfunctions, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using our help desk system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Document support procedures, solutions, and knowledge base articles to enhance team efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a help desk, IT support, or similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN) and basic Active Directory concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 45,000 – 60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications for this part-time role.
