Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Drive the adoption and optimization of GitOps principles, primarily utilizing ArgoCD for declarative, continuous delivery to Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources effectively.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response, post-mortem analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Tools:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on CI/CD and cloud platforms.
- Expertise with cloud providers, specifically AWS.
- Demonstrable experience with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with other cloud providers (GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience with secrets management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
- Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes.
