DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to split your time between working from home and our collaborative Melbourne office, contributing to critical infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will play a key role in enhancing our operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability, working approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual effort.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of core DevOps principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
