As a Backend Developer Intern, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of robust and efficient backend services. • Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features for our core backend services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code primarily in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Assist in the development and optimization of RESTful APIs to support various client applications.
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Contribute to database schema design and query optimization for SQL/NoSQL systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system performance and reliability.

• Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic SQL.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols and RESTful API principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong desire to learn and adapt quickly.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mexico City, Mexico.
